HARBOR INFORMATION
The Pelican Harbor is operated by the City of Pelican. The City has 98 berths, which includes permanent berthing spaces and transient moorage. Transient moorage rates range from $10.00 per day for boats under 80 feet to 40 cents per foot for boats 81 feet and over. Permanent moorage is $10 per foot per year; seasonal rates are offered. Electricity is available, as well as fresh water. Pay phones are situated near the dock and there are showers available at the local Laundromat. A small grocery store operates Monday through Friday. A dockside hoist is available at Pelican Seafoods.The City also operates 4 tidal grids for boats up to 50 feet.
Pelican Seafoods operates the Pelican Fuel Dock and there are two businesses in town, which specialize, in marine repair. The City of Pelican operates a 21’ search-and-rescue vessel and the Coast Guard operates surface vessels out of Juneau and aircraft out of Sitka.
